RESEARCH
The emphasis of my research is on international comparative adult education. More precisely, my focus is on research into adult learning, on questions related to lifelong learning and on the professionalisation of adult education.
In my publications I deal with the following questions:
- How does adult learning differ in various European countries?
- Which learning strategies do people adopt in the workplace?
- How can lifelong learning be developed further in a life-deep way in addition to its lifelong and life-wide dimensions?
- What abilities do adult education students possess on completion of their academic degree?
- What potential is there for student mobility for adult education students?
